The Sterling Process

Sterling Financial Group is dedicated to finding the best financial solutions to help solve the problems and reach the goals of its clients. Because of this, Sterling has a unique process to help determine the values, goals, needs, and desires of each client.

This is accomplished through the following steps:

1) Data Gather: Each advisor collects pertinent information from each client in order to determine what solutions will best fit the needs and goals of his or her client.

2) Total Client Profile: The information collected in the Data Gather phase is then used to develop a Total Client Profile, which is a visual representation of the client's financial life and process coming ahead.

3) Investment Policy Statement (IPS): An IPS is a client-driven written summary of a particular client's investment objectives and helps guide both the client and advisor in the investment and planning process.

4) Asset Allocation: Based on information gathered during the Data Gather phase and in the IPS, the client and advisor work together in order to determine the best possible allocation of the client's assets that will be meet the investment goals of the client while also taking into consderation the client's risk tolerance.

5) Ongoing Client Reviews: It is important to review each client's life situation and changing needs. Sterling advisors strive to meet with each client at least annually in order to review life changes, asset allocation, risk tolerance, and progress towards long-term goals.
